This script can be used to impose makeshift disk quotas on subdirectories in your site. The script works by checking directory sizes against disk quotas you set for those directories. If the directory is over the specified limit then an email shall be sent to you. You may then treat the situation as you find necessary. This is extreme useful for shared hosting accounts that can setup and restrict ftp accounts to certain directories but that cannot impose disk quotas on these directories.

This free php script checks server status through any web browser. The script is called through a standard img tag, and can be used to check multiple web pages, web servers or domains. When the script finds that the server is active, an active image will appear on the status page. If the server is down, the script will display a disconnected image. Several 'live' and 'dead' server images are included in the download. Phpcron is a PHP command line program which allows you to execute programs and system commands at certain scheduled times. Phpcron operates in a similar fashion to Unix's Crond daemon, and can be used in place of, or as a complement to, crond. Phpcron allows a host of options, including logging and email features.
