Sub Mapper allows anyone with a wildcarded domain that points to their root directory to have an unlimited amount of subdomains. The subdomains point to existing subdirectories on your site. If the subdirectory exists, the subdomain will invisibly frame it. If not, it will send them to the homepage. So all you need to do is create a directory named for your desired subdomain name and you're all set. Optional path forwarding is also available through use of the custom '404 Not Found' error handler available through the .htaccess file. |
