The reason this menu is so useful is that it's always visible to the user, even when they are at the bottom of a very long page - yet it never takes up more than a few pixels of screenspace when collapsed, so you don't have to worry about it covering up your content. (We do recommend that your content not occupy the leftmost 20 or so pixels of the screen so that the sidebar menu doesn't obscure it while collapsed. |
