Speakers Corner is a highly configurable guestbook and discussion forum application. Like all programs using snippet file technology, contents maintainers having write access to the web root directory can decide to start a guestbook or discussion forum and with the manual, they can realise it themselves. The system adminstrator doesn't have to grant any extra permission to the contents maintainer. This is a useful concept for large intranets with contributors having some kind of autonomy, or an ISP (internet service provider) situation. |
