The EdgeDetector is a JavaBean that implements Canny edge detection algorithm. The Canny algorithm is advantageous with its capability of anti-noise, subpixel-level detecting accuracy, and one pixel-width of resulting edges. The employment of the Canny algorithm is able to detect edges of an image with much less loss than the use of other algorithms of edge detection. |
